Actua chronograph - please identify movement and year

Hello, just got this Actua chronograph in mail. Was cheap to buy, around $125. The watch seems to work and even keep time, just the chronograph part seems to stop at around 3, maybe dirty?! Anyway, can someone give me some info on the watch? Like movement, year, etc.

Here are some pics of the watch:

Landeron Cal. 48 (can see that right next to the balance cock). Age: in view of missing shock proofing, I'd say forties or early fifties.

The movement is Landeron 48, produced from late 1930's into 1970. Landeron produce over 3 million of these movements so it's fairly common. Your's was produced probably in the 50's maybe 60's. Nice watch. I serviced a number of them and probably have 3-4 watches in parts alone. The price you paid seems fair. You probably want to have it serviced. Chances are it hasn't been serviced in decades (most I came across have not been). Enjoy it.
