Advanced search in the movement archive

    Hi ladies,

an advanced search feature was implemented to find a calibre after visual
and technical details in the movement archive:
    bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements

Hope it will simplyfy movement idendifications in the future.

    Regards, Roland Ranfft

Excellent, Dear Sir. This will make searching for unknowns much simpler.

Working is probably not the precise expression. It was more a kind of shifting
the work continuously far enough not to get in touch with it.

Anyway, maybe it is disappointing the first time, because either no hits are
found, or almost all movements blow the display. But I used a test version
already a couple of months, and found out, which features to enter to get
just few hits (and the right among them). It is a kind of learning process, and
I still can't explain how to do best.

    Regards, Roland Ranfft

Nice set of search criteria... very clever!
