    advice on vintage watch

    Hi

    I am new to this forum, and i would like to purchase a vintage ladies 1950 bangle.
    there is one for sale with scratched glass that is 10 microns gold, is it worth it?
    how much does it cost to repair the crystal?

    10 microns is not very thick. Polishing it will brass it after a while.

    A new crystal would be $15/30 plus installation at my watchmaker. Your mileage may vary.

    Hi there,

    simply browse closed auctions. Here an example for a similar watch with flawless mineral crystal:

    And keep in mind: Many regard my pages as expensiv, and the ebay offer keeps the movement and its condion as secret.
