    affordable swiss-made?

    Hi guys,

I'm looking for an affordable vintage watch that's Swiss made. I've heard that watches like Titoni can be had for $50 and serviced for $100, and that seems decent to me. Any other brands/models that you can recommend? I'm going to wear it as a dress watch. I'd prefer a larger face (>34mm)

The 'bay has oodles of them (lots of them). Brands are not as important as condition at this end of the market. Lots of find 17 jeweled winders are for the taking.

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!
