All prepared for March 1, the big fiddle-and-fumble day.

    Same procedure every year.

I have set everything to Tuesday the 31st of February, time PM, new moon plus 2 days. The watch needed a new battery anyway, which I will put in tomorrow afternoon and let it do the rest over midnight.

Nice! I don't yet own an annual calendar, so I never thought about this! I thought day-dates were bad... At least you have quicksets!

    Nice job of planning ahead!

My favorite to do a manual date change on is my grandfather's Timex Quartz. It's the only push-button date corrector I have.

For those who have non-quickset models, my condolences.

My Zenith ChronoMaster El Primero Cal. 410 is very kind to me too. Sure, it only has a full calendar display but I can quickly adjust the date and month* via the crown without affecting the day-of-the-week, let alone the moonphase.

*Someone once told me that this watch was the very first "mere full calendar" to have a self adjusting month indication - doing it by itself in months with 31 days and easily done manually via the crown as the date is changed in other months. An "El Primero" in not just one but two ways.....
