Another movement identification request for the panel

Have a couple of movements that I just haven't been able to place, so figured I'd ask the experts.

First up is this one from a Lucien Piccard.

    Here are the photos:

The closest I could come up with is the AS 1798/AS 1892, but this one is marked as 17 jewels and those are listed as 25 jewels. Not sure if that makes a difference, but that's why I'm asking.

Second is from a Vulcain Grand Prix.

I think it looks like an ETA 2375 family, but not completely sure.

Can anyone chime in and let me know.
Also I can provide dial pics if you need them, but neither have dates and both have sweep second.

    Thanks in advance.
I've got more Converse sneakers than watches, but it is a close race.

Correct on both counts, I'd say. or nearly so - there are a variety of related calibres for the ETA one, some of which even go to 13''' (how big is the diameter of your movement?!). As for jewel count, these things were made in different quality grades - the early ETA 2824 came in 17/21/25 jewel versions.

    Hi there,

always watch the details. The Lucien Picard has a slot in the rotor, so it is one of this family:
bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: AS 1862
On the Vulcain the calibre is stamped under the balance. Hard to read in the photo, but I guess 2637.

Does the LP have a date window at 6?

    No date on this one.

    Thanks for the info everyone.

I'll try to take another pic of the Vulcain to see if I can get a better shot of the balance.

Couldn't get a good pic of the number with the balance in the way, that and I can't seem to take off the bracelet.

But what I can see are the numbers "245_" which does seem to match a family of the ETA.
Without a date function for this one, it seems to narrow it down to five candidates.
