It's the band you were talking about. Now I won't feel bad swapping the band for something that fits.
If the band is marked Timex anywhere, I'd probably keep it. It does resemble bands found on other 21s.

However, that watch would look slick on a croc embossed or flat black strap.

I'll double check it too. The Mercury I have is the same band, just different color.

Aftermarket band, but one of good quality. At this point it's a toss up if you keep it on the watch or not.

Most likely not as it is a little tight. I might have a few ideas for a band.

Finally back in town and some more pictures since everyone enjoys those. Please point out anything you see and I can get more pictures if requested. Appears to be a "694" in the last picture.

    Re: Another Timex addition

The ink stamp on the inside of the case back tells us the watch was made in 1969, which we also knew from the code on the dial.

The "694" is likely meaningless. It could be a factory code to denote which of Timex's factories produced the movement.

Here is the service manual for that M75, if your interested: Service Manual

Thank you for the service manual and information. This one will be enjoyed for a while. Now I just need to figure out what to do with the band.

A nice black or rich brown flat lizard or croc grain would look very nice on it.
