    Antique Store Bag O' Watches

Hey everyone. I just got a bag of watches at a local antique store today and can recognize a couple but not too sure about the rest. If anything here stands out could you let me know? I know the seiko panda and the one with the terrible scratches is an orient. I think I hit the jackpot with these though, half of them work too.Name: rsz_img_20181117_132311989.jpg

I think that it would help to have closer, clearer pictures of the watches individually rather than one big piccie for the lot of them. Especially so since you have access to the watches and don't have to rely on a seller's picture. I can identify one Elgin and one Glycine and the Glycine may end up (together with the seiko) being the only one with real interest to the collector.

Longines? Please post photos of the watch second from left in the top row. To the right of the Seiko. Missing bezel unfortunately.

[Edit: After seeing better photos below, the watch is correct. No missing bezel.]

Sorry the pictures are kinda wonky as far as orientation. Hope those are good enough!

I think the Longines is interesting, but would need more photos to be sure. The Glycine is definitely nice also. If they are running, then I think you did well.

Good job, that's exactly what I was hoping to see. Longines ref 6280 with cal 22AS movement. Matching #85 in the case-back and on the lug. Serial number puts it at ~1951. All good. Running?

Keep your greasy fingers off the movement!

By the way, the Seiko is not a Panda. 'Panda' is an informal term for any watch with black sub-dials on a white dial

    e.g.
