Antique Store Find one of two.

I am on a business trip now and decided to take a few minutes to post what I found. I got this Britex 17 Jewels for 20 dollars and I am wondering if any one heard of this watch. In side is not marked the movement or calibre I can see. Thanks Watch Origins

My friend and I have a disagreement. Is the marking in under the fast slow setting a B or an 8?

They used good generic movements. There are some vintage adverts around on the web but my mind has gone blank as to the name of the website. People try to make a connection between Britix, Wakmann and Breitling - but that connection is tenuous at best. Also.

Yours looks later 40s-early 50s, likely early 50s due to incablock. Looks to be a AS 1287, 1255, 1294, 1494 or similar.

    Nice.

I have a Britix Chrono and a Britix triple date calendar (I apologize for the old bad photos).
