I don't know how about the dial- on one hand, it looks like it's in a really good shape. On the other hand, the font used for "Anti-Magnetique" looks suspiciously similar to the font used by Doxa for that very same inscription on their watches...

For any inquiries regarding vintage Doxa watches, please read the highlighted text in my vintage Doxa thread. Sorry, but I will not respond to PMs on the matter.

    My 10c,
The dial may be original, but reworked, some of the numbers appear heavier in the date wheel than others, some of the 5`s around the 50 to 55 markers are inconsistent. The red and blue inks used in dial printing are the first to fade, and that is one very red "31",so for a 60 something year old watch,i would expect signs of 60 existence.Apart from the dial though it`s looking good, others will know more about the franken state though.

Would any of you walk away from this or take the chance that it's original?

    Not good to me...

Except the "anti magnetique" spoted by mkws, the two "9" (9 and 19) on the moonphase are differents.

    My 2 cents

The watch that the OP inquired about certainly has a refinished dial.

@npneye Your watch looks to be original and in quite good shape. Mulcos such as yours are becoming more desirable. This is likely due to their resemblance with UG's Tri-Compax. A certain Paul Maudsley of Phillips owns a similar watch. Make of that what you will.
