Anybody know anything about this vintage watch?

Hi guys! I'm new to this forum. I love watches, especially of the vintage variety, and own quite a few, though most need some work. This old chronograph was an heirloom from a now deceased relative. It still seems to work when wound up, but is obviously in need of a service and a couple replacement hands. One of the lugs also seems a touch bent out of shape. What do you all you experts think of it? Thanks in advance!

    Hi and welcome
Some gentle, tender love and care will give you a great wearable chronograph.
The hands look OK and original, you are just missing the counter hand at "3"
I can not read the name on the dial

Looks like generic, " Chronographe - Suisse".

You need to bust the back off of that bad boy.

First: welcome to WatchUSeek/f11, THE place to be for vintage watch enthusiasts

Second: that is one beautiful, generic 1950's chronograph, similar to my dad's:

Inside you'll find something similar to this one:

The Landeron 48 was the standard in affordable chronograph movements throughout the nineteen-forties and -fifties, with more than three million built (including its derivatives).

Your watch lacks the minute register hand (which was usually arrow-shaped) and the center (chronograph) second hand. An able watchmaker will find and source replacements easily. The bent lug is not uncommon for these watches - golden ones were made of very thin gold and the lugs were often hollow. Your watchmaker will be able to reshape it.

By the way, the dial in your watch seems to be the same one my dad's watch had originally:

I had to replace it because it was half eaten by sweat One day when I have the money to spare I'll have it redone by a professional

    Enjoy wearing your watch!

    Best regards
