Anyone else enjoy a NATO on vintage non-divers?

I have a few vintage watches and for some reason like the look of a NATO strap on older non-diver watches. Anyone else do this?

Yes, occasionally. Usually on military watches with fixed lugs.

If the truth be known I have to concur with jackruff - Nope, and
Badbackdan. Looks very appropriate on that Lemania military watch, but too over powering, trendy and fussy on your very elegant
gold watch . A simple high quality period contemporary tapered soft black leather strap would draw the eye away from the chunky budget looking Nato strap
    and towards understated quality dial.
    However, that said ------
I've recently been watching repeats of the Avengers circa 1960's - early 70's and Steed and many other actors wore stripy Nato fabric straps with 34-36mm gold watches.
However none show Nato buckles and fastenings. They just use the stripped Nato look nylon fabric as a standard watchband which doesn't really detract from the dial.
    jackruff likes this.

For a vintage watch, i'd prefer a perlon strap.
