Damnation! - not me but wish I had. I could have done with the Zenith. Obviously a "French Zenith" (from their dependance in Besancon, France - as witnessed by the low serial number). And the others look good too. A bargain at that price.....

I saw that lot and passed over it with a glance. Which despite it apparently being a bargain is a good thing as I have far, far too many watches which need working on to be adding even more to the pile.

I just didn't know how hard it would be to find a Zenith case back.... so I passed.

    Re: Anyone get this lot?

    Hi there,

there are many reasons not to bid on such a lot.
    1) As Mirius suggested, the level in the future challenge box (plain text: junk) should be kept virtually constant, since a decreasing level is an illusion anway.
    2) People selling such stuff simply take the only chance to reduce the level in their junk box.
    3) If the rusty Zenith movement is the only movement shown, one should better not expect that all the others are mint.
    4) The missing back of the Zenith makes many believe that the back was the only usable part of the watch. Springs and screws occasionally leave this galaxy by accident, backs never.

    Regards, Roland Ranfft
