The movement reminds me of Lanco, but the final assembly must have been in Germany to be marked in that way.

I've never seen vintage chrome worn as badly as that in such an otherwise good watch.

I like these radial number dials - I have several. Sorry I can't help with the ID, but I had to comment on...

You have led a sheltered life Chas I have a Hafis with an absolutely pristine dial, hands and movement - case was reduced to eroded brass. Runs beautifully - but no home as the case is really beyond redemption. Amazing really.

Also, the damage around the stem screw concerns me - pointing to rough former treatment, and would make me nervous about the condition of the rest of the movement.

But would it be worth $21usd that is the most I may pick it up for though if some one has one in this style that is really pristine for daily wear for under ~$165 I would be interested, does not have to be vintage just like that particular style, what would be the best would be a modern watch with that style but the modern dependability.

    Re: Anyone heard of kano

    Hi there,

it is definitely German. I had a Kano watch in my auction which was
completely (movement and case) made by H. Becker, Pforzheim:
    bidfun-db 1182956423: 156: Gents Kano-Co Manual Wind, ca. 1950

And I guess that often Swiss movements were applied by German watch
manufacturers, but never all componets from German factories in a Swiss
    watch.
