    Anyone here collect character watches?

I recently found my Holy Grail character watch... this Groucho Marx with moving eyes. Searched forever but finally one showed up.

I am interested in a couple of classic Disney and Warner Brother watches. It would be sweet to get an old Goofy and Daffy Duck or Whyile Coyote.

There are manual wind and quartz Goofy watches that run backwards. The manual wind ones are harder to find. I have only seen quartz Daffy Duck watches and have yet to see a Wylie Coyote.

I recently picked this up for only $20... I needed to fix the movement with parts from two other watches, and I needed to make the minute hand (although I think I did a soso job, I am still on the lookout for a real hand). It's really great when you can save some money by doing your own work on them.

I just picked up these off of a dealer on ebay tonight...a "Johnny Horizon" and a "Richard Nixon- I'm Not A Crook!" animated eyes watches. Both in great condition. ($90 each) I still need to find your "Groucho" version. They are just too cool. I had to have them.

I have a few. Would love to get this running, but my watch guy can't get parts for it.

I thought about it very early on. After much deliberation I swore an oath of abstinence. I remain a fan of extended pallet arbors however.

Hi Mrsnak, In regards to the Hopalong... it's just a Timex. Would be really easy to find a movement to swap out. Usually they have grey dials. Send me a PM. Ron
