    Anyone know the brand "Maxwell"? New picture inside!

    Can't find any info on the brand though... It's a manual movement and I think it's NOS so the condition should be good. We'll see for sure when it turns up.

    It looks like late sixties or early seventies. The lack of date and a seconds hand suggests that it might have a small ladies movement inside. At that time, there were loads hanging around - the quartz crisis was setting in and noone wanted them any more so they were sometimes used to make larger watches at lower prices. Nowadays, you even find them converted to cufflinks.....

    It's small, 21,5mm (just short of an inch for the non metric educated ;) ) crown included. Might give it to the missus...

    Edit: inches and feet is not a retarded way of measuring, people who do it is just a little behind ;)
