    Anyone like the AS 1361?

Seems to be an interesting movement that uses a detached manual winding system. Any other interesting points of this movement?

    Hi!

It´s a nice movement, it´s in one of my Rados - the same one as in this interesting link, but GP instead of gold.
    Best regards, Mike

I have it in a 50s Benrus and it seems to be a decent movement. I like it better than the felsa bidynator I think.

Got a 23 jewel version of it in my Orvin. After servicing and regulation, it rarely misses a beat. It keeps excellent time.

Mines the 17 jewel version. But it's the 1361N and later modded by Benrus. Keeps decent time. I'm regulating it now.

Now, with that said. What would you compare it too?

With it's beat rate, automatic, and screw balance. Low end compared to my AS 1673.

Well.... It's from the 50s mine beats at 18,000 so that is quite normal for a 50s automatic. And a screw balance is a good thing. I would consider the AS 1361N (mine being the N which is a modified 1361 and then I'm not sure what Benrus did to it) to be a higher mid range movement. A step above the felsa bydinater
