Ariston pocket watch with no markings

Hi this pocket watch has no Ariston stamp on the movement or case, all it has is what is on the dial, and swiss made on the movement...no numbers....on the inside lid it says nickel chrome 555, any info be great.

Ariston seems to have been a brand of Edouard Kummer (Ebauches Bettlach). As such, you'd expect an EB movement but this one has certain similarities with Helvetia:

Even then, I am anything but 100% sure that it actually is a Helvetia movement.

they are similar...but I dont know what you call it? the bridge bit in the middle is like reversed to the helvetia and the top end piece is slightly different. But they do look similar.

It’s a relatively common bridge layout. MST also have something that looks similar. You are likely to learn more if we can see the dial side of the watch.

Not quite but it does mean taking off the front bezel and removing hands and dial. Most commonly you’d be uncasing it at the same time.

These are the first steps a watchmaker would make in servicing a movement and allows them to identify the maker at the same time.

I will take a look...I did have the front off when I first got it because one hand was off and I had to put it on...I will look now to see if I Can remove the dial.
