asking for help from the pocket watch specialists

    Hi everyone,

currently I'm planning a new build project, I want to create a homage of the crazy Chronoswiss Wristmaster.

While I have a plan already how to realise it I did not find the right watches to do it - I would need a pair of pocket watches (or bullheads) that are available as simple 'one timezone' watch and stopwatch or chrono, using the same style case and dial. So watches that are available as chrono/stopwatch and simple watch.
The budget is not unlimited of course.
    Any idea is much appreciated.

I think that you may have some problems if you want to make near-exact copies. Most pocket chronographs are based on lepine movements (small seconds opposite the crown) with the minute totaliser opposite, close to the crown, and without hour totaliser. You will need either the same movement as Chronoswiss (presumably a Valjoux 7750 or 7760) or you will have to tamper with the movement (redirect the minute totaliser, add an hour totaliser). The same goes for the other of the pair: pocket watch movements with centre seconds are rare (even though not unknown - and if in doubt, you can also turn one into an indirect centre seconds watch yourself - you will have to adapt the chronograph movement after all so one more won't matter) and PW movements with second time zone are much rarer still.....
