    Asprey Pocket Watch

Could anyone identify this pocket watch, i've never really seen anything like it before. Could anyone shed any light on the piece, it has an engraving of a dog with 'Trusty' marked underneath, which i've read may make the watch quite early or pre-1930's.

    Asprey Pocket Watch

Nice looking piece. Good double dunk dial with a Tavannes (Cyma) movement in it.
I would assume that is Asprey the jewellers which would fit well the overall feel of the piece and that calibre is often seen in own brand jewellers watches.

Date wise I would guess twenties to thirties.

Any thoughts on how much it would be worth?

    Thanks x

Well we do not give evaluations here.
But based on a nice piece and fact it was retailed by Asprey, it will be certainly worth more than a standard nickel case watch.

Try doing an advanced ebay search to incluse world wide for Asprey Pocket watch

'Trusty' was the brand used by Schwob Freres & Co. on their cases; Cyma was their main watch brand.
