    Atira - Info/history wanted

    Hi there,

I came across this beauty a few days ago, its a gold plated Atira at I guess around 32-34mm, 22mm lugs and curved glass.
Since Im unsure on how to open it the only thing I got is what is says on the dial: Atira, 21 Jewels, Incabloc, Swiss Made. The stainless back has the numbers 7011 on it. Im gessing ETA movement, I have seen only two other "Atira" and both had ETA.
Seems to run fine (winded over 24hrs ago) and has a lovely sound.

Is there someone who has any history about the manufacturer?

Is this a manual winder? If so, the recessed crown must make winding a pain in the neck, doesn't it?

The brand doesn't ring a bell with me - Google returned just a few hits for Atira Divers and Mikrolisk has nothing about them, either. Seems to be one of those countless watchmakers buying standard components to produce decent quality watches. Your's looks quite nice and in good shape

After all's been said and done, there's a lot more said than done...

Patina: little pieces of history put on old watches and forgotten there by the maker of time

"Miracles?", he asked. "Forget about miracles. Those who walk on water just know where the stepstones are."

"Luxury watches - you acquire the right to take care of them, but they remain the property of their manufacturers."

    Manual yes. Pain yes. :)
It is fairly easy to "pop" the dial and movement out and wind it.
