    Belforte Diver

Bought this all ss Belforte only because it looks quite a bit like a 60's Benrus military diver.
This one is out the front type case and runs an ETA 2451 automatic.
The bezel was pretty tore up so I acquired this all ss zodiac bezel, did away with the ratcheting section with some grinding and fine sanding, now it's just friction like the original was, fitting was a breeze as the size was within .3mm inside and .5mm out. Dial is not too bad so it stays as is.
Not sure of the year but guessing 60-70's. I've had a few other belforte
and they has been mostly cheaper made this one is a tank.

    Nice work!
"Forever is composed of nows." - Emily Dickinson

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

Well I will get into trying a fix if I get the chance.
Here is a side view of the fitment and the old bezel.
The new bezel is .18mm taller so it adds more presence and also
hides more of the already tall crystal. New mid height crystal next.
