    Blita

Arrived in a little batch of 3 today - a Blita. Not heard of the brand, but apparently registered by BOILLAT FRERES S.A. Bienne in 1948.

It has an AS 1430 17 jewel movement, and looks early 60's to me.

I didn't know that - thank you. Re-exist more likely - the only address is Hong Kong. Maybe the brand was big in China back in the day?

For some reason they appear to have two websites for some reason, this one is called the "Official" and in this one there's at least a Swiss address

Official Blita website - Blita Swiss Watchmakers since 1928 | ENG MAIN | Wix.com

It looks like they're branded as Swiss Made, whatever that means these days.

I think I prefer mine to the ones they're selling now. I don't like bling.

That makes two of us! Have you come across any other "proper" Blitas?

I've just looked on ebay and there's a couple of ladies' watches in the States. Not many around though.

    Re: Blita

Difficult to say from here but it looks like a recent watch (1970s onwards), possibly using a ladies watch "form" (i.e.: non-circular) calibre in a pendant watch.

Thank you so very much. I think it is a nice piece but maybe not worth getting running.
