I guess you could try to find a similar Bovet in good condition at a dealer's and see what price it was on sale at - and then get a quote for restoration. There are Bovet Mono-Rattrapante models with Valjoux movements on sale for $3k -$3.5k (see link); whereas the simpler Landeron models (such as mine!) are more like $500.
