Bulova Aerojet - Anyone out there got one?

This is my cheapest buy off eBay. A 60's Bulova Aerojet 17J. Just purchased this NATO strap which I think compliments it's style. Seems like a very reliable watch! Let me see other types of this watch! :)

I have one as well. Started me collecting again after a long hiatus. I love its simple straight forward elegant design. Paid a ridiculous low price. Works like a dream. Here is a very bad photo of it.

That's lovely - I especially like the green dial, very striking. Think you've started the trend off...

I am rather unsure that the watch left the factory with that dial, though. Looks like an Indian special.....

No Harmut, not Indian, but all American ingenuity. They sell on ebay. Taking classic American Watches, from the 1930s to 60s, and redoing the dials with various colors (maybe youve seen the 2 color Art Deco inspired, pyramid stepped ones on ebay). They also recondition the mechanisms (they had better!,for the prices they charge) and sell them on the net. I have to admit some of them are very eye catching as I like colored dials. But as you can see the originals are quite beautiful as is.
