    Bulova I.D.?

I've had this Bulova for a while, but I have no idea how old it is.
I can't open the back, and there isn't a date code on the case back.
I've never seen the Bulova logo before either.

    Any info would be helpful.
    Thanks, Bob-a-boo-eh.

Looks a bit like a Pontiac logo, but I haven't seen it before either. Without a code date we are stuck I'm afraid. The style is reminiscent of late 1940s, early 1950s but the watch looks newer than that. Retro styling maybe?

As Ray was perhaps suggesting, I'm pretty sure that design below the "Bulova" is a corporate logo of years gone by. The practice of watchmakers adding logos to a special run of their watches was popular 40-50 years ago. Below are a couple examples of watches produced for GM's Fisher Body Division.

If you are very interested in learning the age of your watch, you will need to have a watchmaker pop open the back of the watch (probably for free), so that you can snap some macro photos of the inside case back and the movement, both from different angles. There may be indications of age on the movement's engravings.

    Good luck!

Case looks like a match to my 1960 Bulova which has a Bulova 17 jewel 11AFC movement
