    Bulova Question

Ok, I haven't looked at Bulovas this year but since my Gyro Marvel is still with the USPS I've been looking about online.

I found a nice older Bulova that is listed as a "Duo-Wind" - does this merely mean its an auto that is hand windable?

    Thanks.

That's my understanding of the term, Doc. Bulova's earliest autos were described this way.
Maybe those old stem winding fossils of the 1950s didn't trust those newfangled self winding pieces. Bulova wanted them to know they still had the option to wind with the crown.

Thanks Ray. Makes perfect sense to me - sorta like tellin folks that you can still wear your bracers with that belt
