Can anyone give more info on this Longines?

    Hi all!
    This is my first post.
I was given this watch by my dad and I have had it identified as a Longines conquest.I also think it is from the late 50's Does anyone know more about it? As I can gather there are several types of conquest.
It is a manual watch with timer. The strap is not original. I have been quoted £270 to have it refurbished. New glass (plexi), main spring, button and such. Ok price?
Does anyone know the value of it?
The case is steel and the diamonds and numbers are gold-like. Not sure if it is real gold or not..
The back has a fish ingraved on it.
    Any info is appreciated!

    Try:

Please don't PM me to ask for a valuation - I won't attempt one.

Judging by the hands, crown, indices, and register layout you have what appears to be a caliber 30CH chronograph from the 50's. It's a fairly sought after movement. I don't know if it's from the Conquest series for sure but it might be. The fish usually denoted some amount of water resistance. It wasn't used on the Conquest series until the mid/late 50's.
