It all looks legit to me. Just don't hold your breath on the shipping, it will be around 3 week's so keep that in mind and don't get angry with the seller when the watch arrives in October. Thats a nice watch by the way, I have similar including a near identical one I rhodium plated years ago.

It's 1953 so that should be vintage enough.

I would suspect the hands have been relumed considering the color of the hour marker dots...I think the second hand is a bit disproportionate for the watch...I would have expected something a little finer, ?more finesse and in gold on such a fancy watch...red is somewhat reserved for chronograph/sport.....But I don't really know this brand....nice lugs...!

Hi, this is a 1953 Sea King "B"(the "A" had a black dial), and I think this has a case where the bezel is removed, then the crystal with compression ring, before you get to the dial/movement with two-part stem. By jiggling the movement upside-down over your hand and turning the crown a little, you can get the stem to seperate without the heart-stopping worry of a stem snapping (as they sometimes do, I had it happen to me!) by just pulling until they seperate.
These cases were very water/dust tight, and keep the dial and hands fresh, so I believe they are untouched and original.

Well it may be fresh and original but there is a vast difference between the lume on the hour markers - black and whats left of it don't look too fresh and the lume of the hands which looks very fresh...mmmmm - and yes this can happen but not such a contrast in my experience. If the watch has never been cracked you had better get it done because there is a whole lotta lume floating around in it...!

I have a 1953 Watertite that uses the same dial/hands. You can see the second hand is the same too, and the marker dots and lumed numbers have gone darker than the hand lume. All original, the gilding is a little degraded that's all.
