Can please someone make a brief evaluation of this Benrus

...can please someone make a brief evaluation of this Benrus, I've searched my eyes out on the web but I can't find the exact model. It works fine but needs cleaning up, on the inside it says " BENRUS W. CO 18k GOLD REIFORCED WITH METAL" and on the mecanism "17 seventeen jewels". I would apreciate it very much, thankyou.

Now that's neat. The design and style suggest 20's/30's, and the lack of a caliber code suggests that this was from the period between the start of the Benrus Watch company and when they bought their factory in Switzerland and started making their own watches. But I'm guessing; I'm not that familiar with the early history of the company.

    I can't get a match.

Can you please give us the length and width to the nearest half a mm and a photo of the movement that hasn't been mirrored (note the reversed text on the movement)

Very art deco! The dimensions and style of the watch aren't in fashion in the post modern world we live in. And unfortunetly, nor does the brand Benrus tinge any heartfelt feelings towards the watch collectors.

With that being said, it's still a vintage timepiece in great condition. You're looking at $70 at most for the watch in question. Always, through my perception.
