Can someone age this Wyler please?

    Hey gang,

I recently received this very cool radial dial Wyler and would like any input on the era. The case is 31.7mm without the crown. It has a bumper movement that does also handwind. It's a front loaded movement (but I think all the Wylers may have been, for their special form of water resistance). I'm not trying to get an exact date, but a decade, or even better a five year window, would be great. Well, that and any additional information if you happen to be a Wyler expert.

    Thanks in Advance

You can probably age it by leaving it out in the sun for awhile

I'm no expert by any means, but given the size and the overall style, I'd venture a guess it's from the 1940's.

Nope. I read your title and completely understand your question fellow human. The sun will age your watch quite nicely.

As you have obviously missed, the ionizing radiation emitted from the radium already did all the necessary aging.

Just looking at those photos, I would guess that the watch is from the mid-to-late 1940s. Probably I am being influenced by the radial numerals, which remind of of an Omega ref 2179.

Totally agree with the above points about putting it in the sun.

However If you want to speed it up, put it under very strong lights at night. This Will help you get a quicker, more even age
