    Certina Waterking 210

    Checking out the Antique shops in Christchurch before heading home.. asked the right questions and scored this.. wasn't going..











    Wound it still not going.. put it in my pocket and when I took it out again it was ticking.. :thumbup:

    Just fixed bracelet while sitting at airport.. needed a 'pin'.. used a staple.. :thumbup:

    I wonder what made it going. Maybe old grease in the mainspring got warm and unstuck the spring

    I think the Waterking 210 and 215 are the same but different named depending on the region sold in as they use all the same parts. Does it say 5301.210-5 somewhere on the back?

    Looks like any numbers may have been removed when the engraving was done on the caseback..

    Certina did a poor job when it came to stamping many of their watches and the numbers are worn down but after staring at the back one can often find it round the edge of the cased back. It could of course be as you say polished off.
