When I look at the various specifications for chronograph movements, Dr Ranfft is pretty complete in his information.
But is the angle and spacing between the pushers and relative to the stem different for different brands?
For example, if I were to take a case suitable for a Venus 188 (14''', Dm= 31.0mm, Do= 31.3mm) would it be likely that a 14''', Dm= 31.0mm, Do= 31.3mm Valjoux 7730 would fit in?
Point is, I have an unbranded 14''' case (an admitted moment of madness - others buy Shelby AC Cobras for $1.5 million…) and I'm wondering what might fit it and how to ensure that any movement I bought might work in it. There never seems to be any measurements given for this spacing, so am I right to assume that the pusher tolerances are broad enough for this not to be problem?
