    Re: Condition of Vintage Movement?

I'm inclined to think that movement may have experienced some water damage in the past.

I can't really tell from the photo of the dial, but do you think that the colors of the hands and applied dial markers (and logo) match? To me the hands look gilt, but the dial furniture appears to be white-gold plated. But it could just be the lighting.

    Re: Condition of Vintage Movement?

    Winder4...Hello!

This all looks OK to me...should clean up nicely, and run well. The movement might seem a little rough ( and may be...difficult to tell from one image ), but these Swiss watches tend to brighten considerably after a Service, and I really cannot see any clear indication of water damage . Any good Independent shop should easily be able to put this Tissot back in shape--at a good, fair price.

    A nice Tissot!

    Michael.
