IMO, it's worth the Gold content.

We can't evaluate a watch here. Not by pictures. You should bring it to someone one, an expert, to see it, open it up, etc, etc, to get an estimate of the value
Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none.

Ah that’s a little disappointing. Love the tuning fork hum, will be a neat piece of the collection. Thank you

I agree. It's such a cool, historic movement and connected to an old American jeweler. You'd think it'd have more value than just melt. Oh well...

I know! I may still bring it to someone to take a look at it though. It's a cool little piece, I think it may have more value than just melt.

The Tiffany signature looks completely fake to me. Probably added at the same time that the outer minute track was sloppily repainted and the dial and hands were re-lumed. No collector would take that dial seriously.

This really looks a bit off. Perhaps a redial?

Look at the spacing between the two f's in Tiffany. The scrips seems a bit bold too. The lume also appears to have been to have been touched up.

Sent from the voices in my head and translated by their drinking buddy.

Wow! That’s really good to know that it’s a fake. I couldn’t tell at all, the chipping on the dial must’ve been deliberate when they repainted it. Do you know of any other instances where people have faked these Tiffany dials? Appreciate it.
