    Coursier

    What can anyone tell me about the Coursier make? I have read that it was a part of Vulcain. When were they made and when, if at all, did they cease production? I have read that they used Felsa movements.

    Hi and welcome
    It was a brand by the company Ditisheim and Co La Chaux de Fonds.
    Also called Fabrique de Montres VULCAIN
    Founded 1888 by Maurice Ditisheim.
    Changed name in 1920 to Fabrique VULCAIN
    1945 the VULCAIN factory produced the now famour 'cricket'
    1949 company was listed as VULCAIN & VOLTA, Ditisheim with brands Regis, Codex, Coursier, Colombo, Lancia, Melba, Meteor, Princia and Vulcain
