You can attach two straps! That's a safety feature!

It doesn't look comfortable to me. Surely the lugs would dig into your wrist. Plus, if you ended up with a double buckle, that couldn't possibly be comfortable either.

    Still, it's an interesting piece.

Was this meant to be worn on top of something?

It looks like it's straight out of a horror movie - a creepy crawly watch that comes to life and eats people from the wrist up. I can't imagine that would be comfortable unless it fit the curve of your wrist precisely.

Surely that is a driver's watch to be worn on the side of the wrist. I don't get the 4 spring bars though.

the only thing i can think of is
    1. a second safety strap
    2. the original oem strap has 2 slots for spring bars so that if one fails the other still holds

Ehh..if the wearer has thin wrist they use the innermost spring bars so that the watch sits better? The outer springbars have to be removed for this to work. Just guessing that may be the reason.

Can't help we are missing something interesting on this one.....it has to be a functional modification, but I can't figure for what.

Surely this one must have been designed for people being into bondage. The extra spring bars would be to strap it to a bedpost or onto the wrist of the other arm...
