    Question Cronel 'Swiss made'

    Hi,Well yesterday I was trying to find out about a Glashütte and thought I give this one ago to.This is a Cronel watch that my mum bought 34 years ago for my dad,so just trying to get more info on it,google hasnt turned up too much for me.Sorry for the huge pic and thank you.Also sorry if this is in the wrong section!

    Welcome. Cronel seems to have been a brand of Stroun Freres SA who apart from Cronel also had Camy Watch SA as a brand. They operated in Losone, Geneva and Grenchen (Granges). I suspect that there is a high quality generic movement (Adof Schild, ETA, Felsa) inside.

    Your Cronel may have a decent movement in it. I have Cronel and it has a cheaper pin lever movement in it. If you do an ebay search for Cronel in watches category, you will see that most of the watches have pin lever movements. Only way to find out what the movement is to unscrew the caseback off

    just acquired a cronel ,second one I might add,mine has a auto movement with some pieces missing I'm looking for help with identification of the movement or replacement
