    Cylindre Huit Rubis

Hello, can anyone please share some information about my pocket watch? I received it from my grandfather but don’t know much about it. Thank you!

French? key-wind, key-set, open face, 8 rubies, cylinder movement. Perhaps late 1800's -1910-20.

Edit - actually it could be a Stauffer Son & Co. See post here: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f11/st...nt-527218.html (have a look at the Stauffer example at the bottom of that post) Stauffer Son & Co = Swiss.

IT's a quite early Type: "Lepine IV" probably swiss orgin. If you canb't find out anything about the maker if you can't find signs of the maker nowadays. THis movement structure was used by nearly everyswiss and french watch maker.
