    Damas dress watch

Came today. Its not very exciting but its working fine:

Quite slim and with its original crown:
It has a Peseux 330 movement:

    Quite large at 36mm.

    From http://www.clockswatches.com/foreign...age.php?em=546

"Beguelin, Ch. Ed. & J of Tramelan, Switzerland. Beguelin started his company in 1903. It would seem, from your watch that the company was still called Beguelin in 1908. They have gone through numerous names, all variants of the name and place of the factory. i.e. 1920 Beguelin & Cie. Tramelan was listed as a separate company. 1923 Beguelin-Tramelan. 1924 Tramelan Watch Co. SA. successors to Beguelin & Cie. 1925 Beguelin and Tramelan were both listed separately. 1949 Beguelin & Cie. Des Monters Damas et Tramelan Watch Co. 1951 Beguelin & Cie SA. Damas. 1966 Damas, Beguelin & Co. SA. 1974 Beguelin."

Not too well known; but its a nice watch.

Very good condition. I have seen Beguelin branded watches.

Thanks Erik. I am pleased with it - mine for £6.72. I replaced the strap and fitted a new crystal - and its ready for an evening out.

Thank you trim. I often bid low on watches like this - and if I get them at all, they are cheap. There are a lot I don't 'win'.
