Question Dial variation possible on a vintage omega??

I finally spotted a vintage omega I wanted at a local dealer near my home. He allowed me to write down the case back number and caliber movement. I went back home without buying the watch to check out the archives to see if this watch was a marriage watch.

Well, the case back and caliber match the omega model but the dial shown is different. Is it possible that there were several dial variations but not all shown on the omega website? The dealer of course claims it is possible but I am not sure.

    Should I be leery?

    Thanks.

Yes, there are usually several dials for any particular case reference.

Can't tell you anything without pictures, as it is also possible that the dial has been refinished.

This is very common with vintage Omegas,

in general, if the dial has damage, is it better to leave it untouched?
