    If something like this is something you enjoy, then find the finest examples of these and collect them. Find examples of the type of watch you like that changed the market, preferably unworn in its original box. I'm sure an original Casio G-Shock still new in box is a pretty interesting piece to have, but one that came out a couple years later that someone wore for a few years and is all beat up, really isn't going to have any intrinsic value, so then it probably won't hold much of any monetary value either.

    There are already people who collect finer examples of 1970's and 1980's digital watches, and rightfully so, these watches changed the landscape of the watch industry forever. But there aren't so many collecting them yet that significant nice models can't be found. Just look for quality condition and something that makes this watch "a first", and you will have fun with it.
