    Early Roamer?

I picked this up today at a localish flea market,
I know it needs a few bits doing to it but other than a new hour hand its all there, the case, dial and crystal are all in a very good condition though it doesn't run(though the movement is complete)

The number on the case back appears quite low if it is a serial number?
    The movement is a 7 jewelled Meda(MST?) 353.
The question I would like answered is it worth spending on getting new hands and getting it running or is it a pass it on project?

Well Meda was a brand that is sometimes found on the front of their watches (also Medana), and MST 353 is listed as a movement number, so I'm pretty sure it is an MST 353 - though I can't find an online picture to confirm. Its listed as 9.75 ligne, so a tad small maybe.

The number is more likely to be some sort of case reference number, I think.

It would probably cost you more to get it fixed than it would be worth when finished. But if you like it, and you have the spare cash, why not?

Its an interesting piece of deception; you would typically imagine a 7 jewel watch to be a jeweled lever watch, but this is actually a pin-lever.
