    Ebay military style

Purchased this fella today. Dial seemed clean and lots of service marks. But unsigned. Ive spent an hour looking, does anybody recognise the maker?

I believe this is a standard A Schild movement like this one: bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: AS 1363

So that doesn't provide much of a clue as to the maker.

There is a lot of reference material on the internet about Dennison cases, but I don't think you can date a watch from the case serial number. BTW, to restore this watch, you could install lumed hands. Take a look at the WWW watches to see the typical index/pencil shape of the hands.

Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none.

Another one i purchased arrived today, its a zentra 8 with no military markings. Opinions would be good. Made in Britain on the bottom of the dial is slightly confusing. Am i right in assuming this is a Vertex "59?
