I have an EBEL "Lady President" wristwatch and I am trying to find information about this model of EBEL.
The wristwatch has a square shape, with dimension 21.5 mm X 21.5 mm without lugs.
On movement is stamped the number 76 in a little box. I am thinking it can be the year of production. On a wheel is stamped "FAB. SUISSE".
At exterior the case is stamped with a serial: 778015 704.
At interior of the case is wrote "MOD DEPOSE ANCIER INOXYDABLE" and is inscribed "1P 17/2/88". I don't know what means 1P, but the date could be the date when the wristwatch was opened by a watchmaker.
I think on bezel was gold or a yellow metal, are some parts where the "yellow metal" falled.
The dial is not so clean. I am not a professional cleaner and I left exactly like it is.
The strap is inscribed with "Pleasance & Harper", 8 and 14L. Pleasance & Harper is a UK Jewellers & Watch specialist.
From what I see, the wristwatch has 5 jewels, but I don't know how the jewels are numbered. Can someone explain me?
I send a mail to EBEL company to know more about this model of EBEL. I sent a mail to Pleasance & Harper to ask if they collaborate with EBEL or only the strap is from they. I didn't received an answer from both companies.
Do you know information about this model? Year of production? Number of jewels (it is not stamped on movement)? What is the value?
I am expecting some opinions. Thank you.
