Rolling eyes Are Ebel watches from the pre 50's rare or do they lack interest?

I see them on ebay and the prices drop my jaw make me think how many watches I could buy for the price, I run out of digits. Wrist watches are my interest and they still come up few and far between. Where are they on either side of the pond?

I certainly don't see many vintage Ebels either... I suspect the production volume was fairly low.

You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

I was on a kick with 1960s and earlier Ebel for a while.
The appeal to me was that they're not often seen.
Ebel was marketed and sold with as Paul Breguette in the US afaik.
You'll find more vintage Ebel watches to choose from if you use the European eBay sites.
