    Electra

I think this is French - certainly not Swiss:

The movement looks similar to some Lorsa calibres, but if anyone can ID it I would be grateful. No markings under the balance.

Mikrolisk gives Electra as a brand by Paul Serin of Paris, but there is also a Swiss Electra. It was described as being French. Its working fine and cost me £5.50 - new crystal and strap since fitted.

Save some watches for the rest of us. By the time my slush fund gets replenished you will have bought all the good vintage watches.

Actually, I've been selling a few recently - as per negotiations with my wife.

But I do like getting new ones. I guess its an addiction.

Or maybe she let's me believe I've negotiated.

    But I can't complain - she doesn't like shopping.
