    Elgin Automatic Chronograph help

    Hi all!

Can anyone on here tell me anything about an Elgin Automatic Chronograph? It belonged to my late father-in-law but my husband doesn't know anything about it & neither do I. Any ideas on how old it might be and what, if anything, it might be worth if we decided to part company with it?

    Thanks for your help!

Discussing value is against forum policy but I would say it is from the late 1960s and probably has a Valjoux 7734 movement. You could search Ebay for watches with a Valjoux 7734 and see what they go for.

I think it´s not a 7734, the crown in not in buttons side, i think you have a jewel, microrotor Calibre 12 BUREN, BREITLIN, HEUER, and anothers.

    It's a Caliber 11 or 12.

Which dates it to the early 1970s.
