    Elgin Repair/Restoration: Who Does It?

Boris the Russian Jeweler has picked up a really nice '20s-'30s Elgin wristwatch. It runs, but it needs a thorough overhaul that will involve replacing some parts. I've trolled the internet and found a few people advertising themselves as Elgin repair/restoration specialists, but wondered if anyone here can recommend someone for the job. Thanks.

In case noone else responds, I'll just say that moste Elgin watches are not complicated and there is usually a stock of parts for them. Any fine watchmaker should do the job right.
    Have a great day!!!

Right in Hilliard is one of the best I have encountered, Genna at Watch & Clock Service. He is doing one of my Elgin pocket watches right now.

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!
