"Elgin Trench Watches of the Great War", the first shipment of books just arrived!

The first shipment of my book "Elgin Trench Watches of the Great War" just arrived about an hour ago!

I will sign everybody's books and get them shipped out by Monday at the latest.

I will do my best to get them out tomorrow though.

I'll never be able to thank those of you who bought a copy enough, it's people like you that helped make this project possible!

Congratulations! These are moments authors live for - to see and hold the first examples off the press! I hope you find a bit time to celebrate this great moment

    Thank you very much!

I have to admit....................signing the very first copy felt pretty darn cool!

Not very often in your life to get to experience a feeling like that!

I have a smile ear to ear right now!

A couple forum members live here in the Houston area and they have already stopped by to pick their copy up in person.

Made two trips to the post office this morning, about 2/3 of the orders have been shipped.

Went to make a 3rd trip but the post office closes at noon, line was out the door!

Never seen it so busy there before.

I'll get the rest of the books shipped out on Monday.

Sorry for this slight delay but I can only fit so many packages in my car at once.

I think the post office closes too early on Saturdays!

Why didn't I think of that earlier!

I should have had my chauffeur drive me to the post office in my Bentley limousine!

    LOL!
